Your session experience
Before your first appointment, you’ll be asked to fill out a short consultation form (you’ll find it in your confirmation email). This gives me a clear picture of your medical history and any past injuries, so I can tailor the session to your needs right from the start.
When you arrive, we’ll chat about your goals and create a plan to help you reach them in the most effective way. We’ll also do a posture and movement assessment to spot any imbalances that might be contributing to your pain.
By picking these up early, we can focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference. It also gives us a benchmark so we can track your progress clearly. Many people don’t realise how much they’ve adapted their movement around pain or tension until we start comparing before-and-after assessments. It’s often a real eye-opener!
From there, I’ll put together a targeted treatment plan designed specifically for your body, helping to rebalance, relieve pain, and create lasting results. Throughout the session, I’ll keep retesting movement patterns, especially in problem areas, so we know exactly what’s changing and how best to move forward.
At the end, we’ll reassess your posture, movement, and how you’re feeling. I’ll also show you one or two simple exercises or stretches to help you keep the benefits of the session going at home. It’s normal to feel a little sore for a day or so, but most people notice bigger improvements after about 48 hours. To let your body fully absorb the changes, I recommend avoiding strenuous exercise right after your session and following any advice or exercises I give you.
Finally, I encourage you to pay attention to how you feel over the week.
Your feedback helps us build on your progress and fine-tune future sessions so you get the best possible results.
Lasting relief, not just temporary fixes
